WB ROGELIO C. NUÑEZA, MM

Born on December 11 in Tominobo, Iligan City, Bro. Roger is a retired Police Chief Superintendent, and the former City Director of Iligan City Police Office.  He is happily married to Dr. Olga Macas Nuñeza, of Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology.  They are blessed with two children;  Mark, a nurse in Houston, Texas and Keren, a 1st year BS Biology student at MSU-IIT.  The Worshipful Master was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason on September 18, 1999, 32nd Degree MRS Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Mason.

Bro. Ali graduated BS Forestry in MSU-Marawi campus in 1977.  He works with DENR Region 9 as Director III.  He was initiated on October 25, 1991.  He is married to Haydelisa Laurente and blessed with three children, namely, Myrna, Iben Ali and Potri Iren.  He is a member of Maranaw Bodies, a member and past Royal Patron of the Order of Amaranth Iligan Court No. 21.

Bro. Pat Dejaño Noel was initiated an Entered Apprentice Mason last June 2004, passed to the degree of Fellow Craft in September 2004 and raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason on October 2004.  He is a member of the Tomas Ll. Cabili Chapter of the International Order of DeMolay, initiated last October 1974.  He is also a 32nd Degree MRS of the Scottish Rite.  He maintains the blog of Iligan Lodge No. 207 which can be found at http://iliganlodge207-freemason.blogspot.com.  He is married to Sister Revilla Nazareno Carbonell-Noel last May 18, 2004.  Bro. Pat has been working with the Iligan City Tourism Office as Tourism Operations Officer 1 since 1996 up to the present.

Message from the Worshipful Master, WB Hilario Abel B. Gomez

"Out with the Old or not so Old"

This important saying rings true to life and everything in it:  personal life, professional life, etc.  The obstacles and experiences of the past are lessons to be learned and not to be repeated.  Even the lows and the very lows of events were meant to be understood.

Guidance and prayers are important markers in battling these events.  We can draw strength and inspiration from these most especially the friends, love ones, and family are all too important.

"In with new"

A new chapter is at hand in our beloved Iligan Lodge 207, new leaderships, new direction, and new goals.  We members stand together in making the year prosperous, active, and fun for all. 

Before I end this message.

In behalf of the brethren of Iligan Lodge 207, we say farewell to one of the pillars of this Lodge a Brother who stood the test of time, our sweet 16th  Worshipful Master, who sadly battled a lingering disease only to show to all that he has strength to face it and still can give a smile and laugh when tease.

Farewell WB Mervin, you are now in our Heavenly Father's place.  A place where Peace, and Love abound.  We will missed you.
