Brethren,  October was a busy month for us.  First, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to the conferral team of both first and second sections when we raised Bro. John Yasser Sanguila last  October 17, 2015 during our stated meeting.    It was a very   memorable stated meeting because as an effect of the edict issued by MW TGR III, we called the lodge to recess to introduce a visitor who submitted his application for membership to our honorable lodge, in the person of Mr. Simplicio Bautista.    The next day,        October 18, we had our district tree-planting activity, spearheaded by Iligan Lodge No. 207.  We gathered at the Masonic center at 6 o’clock in the morning and motored to Bayug Island were we planted mangrove saplings at the shore of the island.  WB Ali Bari will give us an update to what happened on that day.

Then October 31, a Saturday, we initiated Mr. Lee Michael Caballes to the first degree of Masonry.  Thank you so much for the brethren who came forward to answer the call to compose the conferral team.  With dispensation from the DDGM, we opened and closed the lodge on the first degree.

This month, November, we will be passing Bro. Lee Michael Caballes.  The passing will be ably handled by our SW Bro. Ivan    Banaag.  They have diligently exerted their efforts by conducting practices to polish their skills in the rituals.  Thank you brethren for your commitment in making sure of a sparkling work.

The passing and the stated meeting will be handled by our Bro. SW because I will be out of town to a short vacation with my siblings.  As we meet only once in every few years, let me ask for your continued support by attending our passing and stated meeting.

My dear brethren, my term will soon end.  It was a fast 10 months and a lot have been done, a lot have happened not just in our lodge but in our district.  Some are within our plans, some are not.  Some have not been accomplished for some reason or the other.  But this does not count as failure.  This only means that our labors continues.  That our labors does not stop with one unfinished work. 

Our lodge election is just around the corner.  Let me remind everyone of our Masonic duty that we should always try to elect for the benefit of our lodge as we have done so for 40 years.  We should always put in our minds that it is for the benefit of our lodge in  particular, and of masonry in general.   And lastly, let me remind the brethren of our lodge dues for us to function fully.  Grand Lodge requirements should be met.
