Message from the Worshipful Master Jaime P. Magnetico

Greetings Brethren.

The recently concluded 55th Mindanao Masonic Convention and Centennial Anniversary of Mindanao Freemasonry were very successful because it was well attended with about 850 registered delegates.  The event was held last February 25 to 26, 2011 at the Grand Caprice Convention Center, Cagayan de Oro City, hosted by the Masonic District Nos. RX-A 7 & RX-B.  Our lodge was well represented by the three lights, myself, SW Hilario Abel B. Gomez, JW Roger C. Nuñeza, Bro. Ali M. Bari, Bro. Llowell D. Chiong, VW Ferdinand Realtor P. Bartolome, WB Ronald U. Sy, and VW Wilfredo Bacareza.  I would like to acknowledge and thank the above mentioned brethren who joined in that august event.  Food and refreshments were plentiful.

Most Worshipful Avelino I. Razon, Jr., Grand Master of Masons of the Philippines gave the message during the Grand Master's Night.  Other known personalities who gave their respective messages were Vice President Jejomar Binay;  his keynote speech was read by his representative on the second day in the morning of the event.  In the afternoon which was the Centennial Anniversary Program the keynote speaker was VW Pax Sandigan Mangudadatu IV, Sultan-Rajabuayan & Mindanao PGO, who gave a very rousing talk which left the brethren awake in the whole duration of his speech from 2:00 pm to 4:00pm.

Let's continue to pray for the fast recovery of VW Audwin Garzon, PDDGM, and our lodge secretary.  He is now in his residence recuperating but still undergoing Dialysis.  He has to undergo yet a MRI test to check the problem with his back pain.  He informed me that, he is "retiring" as secretary and turned over to me all the documents.  He added that, he has to undergo a long medication and preparing everything if worst comes to worst.
