Message from the Worshipful Master - January 21, 2012

Greetings from the EAST

Brethren, we are supposed to have our stated meeting & election of new set of officers for 2012 last December 17, 2011.  But due to the devastation brought about by the typhoon Sendong which affected your Worshipful Master, Junior Warden, Secretary, Treasurer and the rest of the brethren of Iligan Lodge No. 207, we move our meeting to January 21, 2012.

As I mentioned in my message last January 6, 2012 during the stated meeting of JVVR No. 259, that I would like to thank, first and foremost the Almighty God or GAOTU for sparing my life and that of my family.

First, we survived during the flood in the early morning of December 17, 2011, the water reaches up to the roof top of our house.

Second, last December 22, I was admitted at the Mindanao Sanitarium Hospital and was diagnosed with Leptospirosis.

I would like also to thank my Senior Warden and my physician, Bro. Dr. Abel Gomez, for attending to me during my hospitalization.

I would like to thank also to the Order of Eastern Star, for the food, clothing & towel donations.  Like wise to WI Oscar V. Badelles, for the Polo shirts & etc.  To WI Ed Ulindang, for executing affidavits for free, needed for my insurance claims for our house and car.  To the Iligan Masonic Relief Coordinating Committee, Chaired by the Worshipful Elect of Maranaw Lodge No. 111, Bro. Jing Rahon, Treasurer, WI Oscar V. Badelles, WB Ian Uy, WB James Booc, Bro. Aitor Gonzales, Bro. Emmanuel Cantina, and the rest of the team, for providing financial aid, rice and etc, to the victims of the flood, thank you very much.  To the rest of the brethren and sisters, who help in one way or another, in prayers, providing financial and moral supports, to me and the rest of the victims, thank you very much.

I reiterated again that, this coming Saturday (January 21, 2012) is our stated meeting and election of officers.  I asked that all of you come to lodge and have your say in the leadership of the lodge for 2012.
